Ralph “Pop” Junior Davis, 92, of North Brook #3 School Road, Vale, passed away Thursday, October 11, 2018 at his home. Born in Cleveland County on March 9, 1926, he was a son of the late Robert Davis and Nancy Newton Davis. He was retired from Conover Furniture Company and was a member of Beulah Baptist Church, Vale.

He also served in the US Army during World War II. He is survived by his two sons, Steve Davis and wife Helen of Vale and Allen Davis and wife Alegria of Hickory; daughter Sandra Cook and husband Wayne of Vale; eight grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Beulah Baptist Church The funeral service will be Saturday at 2:00 PM, at Beulah Baptist Church with Rev. R.A. Brackett officiating. The burial will follow the service in the Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery.
