Tammy Lynn Johnson Cook, 49 of Vale passed away, Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at Sentara Nofolk General Hospital. Born October 11, 1968 in Catawba County, she was a daughter of Ronald Eugene Johnson and Donna Clark Johnson of Conover. She was employed with Piedmont Vending.

Special love for children and her special Maltese, Cosset. Tammy loved her family, Duke Basketball and Carolina Panthers. In addition to her parents she is survived by her husband of 16 years, Gregory Carl Cook; father and mother-in-law, Cecil and Linda Cook of Vale; brother-in-law, Scottie Cook and wife, Amanda of Vale; nephew and niece, Avery and Lindsey Cook of Vale; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Saturday at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be 3:00 PM, Sunday at Zion Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Allan Barlow officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to Zion Hill Baptist Church Building Fund, 8173 Old Hwy 18, Lawndale, NC 28090. A guest register is available at www.
