Robert Franklin Hilton, Jr., 86 of Lithia Springs Road, Shelby passed away, Friday, September 7, 2018 at Carolinas Healthcare System-Cleveland. Born July 27, 1932 in Aiken County, SC he was a son of the late Robert Franklin Hilton, Sr. and Louise Johnson Bost. He retired from Cleveland County in the maintenance department and was a member of Dover Baptist Church.

He is survived by a daughter, Gail Davis and husband, Robert of Waxhaw; two granddaughters, Spring Griffin and husband, Gary and Crystal Helms and husband, Tommy and four great-grandchildren, Kayla Griffin and husband, Rodney, Chase Faircloth, Thomas Helms and Tyler Helms.

The family will receive friends from 2:30pm to 3:00pm on Friday at Rose Hill Memorial Park, Fallston. A graveside service will be held 3:00pm, Friday at Rose Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum with Dr. Ervin Price officiating.
