Edith Hull Davis, age 92, passed into the life eternal, on Friday, September 28, 2018 at Brian Center in Lincolnton. Born on July 3, 1926 she was a daughter of the late Osto and Buna Hull. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by husband Howard Davis; brothers Loyd Hull and Ralph Hull; and sisters Nettie Boyles and Wilma Leatherman.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter Kathy Davis of Lincolnton; son Kevin Davis of Bulls Gap, TN; and numerous nephews and… Read More » nieces. Edith was a wife, mother, homemaker, seamstress and cook. She was secretary and treasurer of Howard Davis Trucking.

She enjoyed her flowers and reaping benefits of the garden. She was a lifelong member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church, where she served on different committees and was a member of the United Methodist Women. Services will be Sunday, September 30 at 2:30 PM with the family receiving friends from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Ebenezer United Methodist Church.

The service will be officiated by the Rev. Tony Sayer and Rev. Olin Isenhour.

The burial will follow the service in the church cemetery. A special thanks to the staff of Brian Center, Lincolnton, who cared for her for over seven years, they became family to her. Memorials may be made to Ebenezer United Methodist Church, Camp Tekoa Scholarship Fund, 8840 Cooksville Road, Vale, NC 28168 or to Hospice of Lincoln County, 900 Dontia Drive, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
