Shelly D. Ferguson, 52, a resident of New Castle passed away Saturday, February 23, 2019 at her residence. She was born January 8, 1967 in New Castle to the late Billy Jean and Lova (Garner) Ferguson. Shelly was a 1985 graduate of New Castle Chrysler High School and received an Associate Degree in accounting from Ivy Tech.

Shelly worked at the Bureau of Motor Vehicles and was an assistant accountant at Draper, Inc She was a proud mother and grandmother. Survivors include two children, Kayla (Chris) Wallace of New Castle and Jacob (Katherine Rose) Runion of Modoc; five grandchildren, Maddox, Remington, Addison, Dawson and Kashton; siblings, Gena (Dave) Barker, Tammy Carnes and Sandy Fort all of New Castle; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Rev. Matt Daffron officiating. Burial will follow in South Mound Cemetery, West Lawn Addition.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. You may express condolences or share a memory of Shelly at www. hinsey-brown.com.
