Obituary for Sherry Lynn Mays Sherry Lynn Mays, age 54, of Henderson, KY passed away at 12:39 a.m. on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at the Lucy Smith King Care Center under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice. Sherry had been a member of Spottsville Baptist Church since 1985. She was a very devout Christian and enjoyed sharing her love for the Lord with everyone she met.
She loved word search books, watching T.V., and western movies. Sherry was preceded in death by one grandson, Zaiden Mays. Survivors include: Husband of 34 years: Bruce Mays of Henderson, KY 2 Daughters: Amber Mackellar and her husband Brendan of Henderson, KY Janna Mays of Henderson, KY Parents: Jim and Janice Barron of Robards, KY 3 Brothers: Tony Barron, Jimmy Barron, Joe Barron All of Henderson, KY 3 Grandchildren: Kanna Mackellar, Fergus Mackellar, Lenora Mackellar Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins Nieces and Nephews Relatives and friends are invited to Sherry’s Life Celebration from 3:00- 8:00 p.m. on Sunday and again from 9:00 a.m. until the service time on Monday at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 14, 2018 at the funeral home with Brother Hal Branson and Pastor Paul Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Henderson. Pallbearers will be: Tony Barron, Jimmy Barron, Joe Barron, Randy Mays, Jeff Mays, and Andy Hogan.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Brother Mike Nunnelly and Cliff Williams Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Anthony’s Hospice, 2410 S.
