Shirlean Smith, age 78, passed away on February 6, 2019. She was the last surviving child of Arlin and Daisy Stone and was preceded in passing by her husband Herbert Smith and son Herbert Denny Smith. Shirlean had been living in the Cleveland, Ohio area for the last several years to be near her children.

She was born in West Virginia where she always considered home and now she’s returning. Her surviving children Ellen, Curtis, Calvin, Tina – and grandchildren Jerod and Nicholas will miss her but are glad she is free and has rejoined her beloved husband of 37 years. A graveside service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Friday, February 8th at Danville Memorial Park in Danville, WV.
