Shirley A. (Jones) Andrews, 92, of Williamsport, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2018, at UPMC Susquehanna Williamsport. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marlin P. “Andy” Andrews.

Born May 16, 1926, in Renovo, she was a daughter of the late Samuel A. and Victoria B. (Huff) Jones. Shirley was a graduate of Williamsport High School, and was later employed at the former Hub’s Surgical, now Hub’s Oxygen and Medical Supplies. Shirley and her husband, Marlin, were owners and operators of Shirley’s Saddle Shop and Andrews Three A Rabbitry.

She was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose and the American Legion Post 1. She loved her cats, playing her organ, polka dancing and reciting the alphabet backwards. Surviving are her two sons Marlin P. “Skip” Andrews (Rosemarie), of Montoursville, and Terry L. Andrews Sr. (Tina), of Cogan Station, two daughters, Candace R. “Candi” Andrews-Reese, of Cogan Station, and Bonnie L. Dapp (Gary), of Williamsport; 13 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 29 great-great- grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas Jones and John “Jack” Jones and two sisters, Jeanne Monoski and Nina Dymeck. A funeral service to honor the life of Shirley will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 12 at Knight-Confer Funeral Home, 1914 Memorial Ave.

, Williamsport. Burial will follow in Wildwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until time of service at Knight-Confer Funeral Home.
