~The song has ended but the melody lingers on. Ella Fitzgerald ~ Stephen Wayne Klopp “Bigrocker” was born October 30, 1969 age 49 has completed the journey here with us on October 31, 2018. His loving family including his wife of 27 years, Ricki Ellen (Stine) Klopp, two sons, Alexander Jacob Klopp, Nicholas Allen Klopp (Nicole) and our dog Dinga survive him.
In addition, Aunt Linda who selflessly cared for Stephen as her own, showing deep love, compassion, medical care and support to all who loved him even as he transitioned to Heaven. His father Richard LeRoy Klopp (Dick), his mother Margaret Louise Landon Klopp (Peg) and brother Richard D. Klopp preceded him in death. Remaining to carry on the good work are his siblings: Bonnie Kulzer of Holley, NY, Nora Beck of Hatsfield, PA, JoAnn Graham Jersey Shore, PA, Sylvia Klopp Linden, PA, Kimberly Barr (Mike) Cogan Station and Robert Klopp (Susan) Jersey Shore.
Stephen was the seventh born into a musically gifted family where everyone either sang or played an instrument. Joy and love flowed throughout their home and into the community blessing many hearts at social, church and family gatherings. Stephen attended Faith Tabernacle Christian Academy nurturing his desire to share God’s love and passionately train others using his multiple gifts; of special note was his anointing to sing and play guitar.
Stephen sang solos, duets, trio’s and with multiple band’s, including Exodus II, Big Ideas and Sheepdog. He believed and trusted in God’s unconditional love, so grateful that He served the God of second chances. Loving and ministering to people became a deep desire he shared and experienced with his wife.
In the last twenty-five years, they volunteered and invested in building, leading, teaching and participating in worship, drama and youth ministries throughout Pennsylvania, Ohio, New York and Alabama. Stephen shared a special role in the lives of 27 nieces and nephews, 36 great nieces and nephews and 6 great great nieces and nephews. He wanted them to remember his heartstrings remain connected to each of them and he treasured all the special times they shared from riding tricycles to playing barbershop.
They should always know his love, music, joy, laughter, compassion and memories would always remain their strong bond. Stephen was the brother-in-love to Matthew Stine (Michele), Billie Kay Stine (Mike), Jackie Jo Stine (Tom), Bobbie Lee Stine and Stevi Ann Heller (Chris). Even during his final days, his voice filled the air with music as he continued to sing songs of praise.
Today, he is singing with his parents, family members and the angels. At this time, the family will provide flowers and requests, in lieu of flowers; contributions to assist the family with final expenses may be sent to Revival Tabernacle or at www. SandersMortuary.com.
A Celebration of Stephen’s life and refreshments will be held at Revival Tabernacle, 960 Susquehanna Trail, Watsontown, PA 17777 on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 2:00 PM with the Reverend Tony Cruz and Reverend James Bond officiating the service. The family welcomes and invites everyone attends and celebrates his special life legacy with us.
