Shirley Jean Bus, 85, of South Haven, passed away Thursday, May 9, 2019 at the Hanson Hospice Center in St. Joseph, Michigan. She was born December 11, 19333 to Zebb and Edna (Kuney) Flora in Pullman, Michigan. Shirley married Edwin Bus on June 19, 1954.

They shared 65 years in marriage. She is preceded in death along with her parents by siblings – Kenneth Flora, Laurence Flora, Irene Allers, Freda Stevens, Dorothy Ray, Mable Momany, Alice Bennett, and Leona Flora. Shirley is survived by her husband – Edwin Bus of South Haven, daughter – Patricia (Duane) Ninke of Hot Springs, Arkansas, and granddaughter – Kasey Ninke and great grandson – Henry/ Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, May 12, 2019 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home in South Haven.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, May 13, 2019 at the Hope Reformed Church in South Haven. Shirley will be laid to rest at Lakeview Cemetery in South Haven. Contributions may be made in Shirley’s memory to the Hope Reformed Church, 1365 Monroe Boulevard, South Haven, Michigan 49090.
