Sondra Sue Giles, 45, of Vernon, passed away on Friday, February 22, 2019, at her residence. Born July 14, 1973, in Florida, she was the daughter of David and Elizabeth (Abner) Giles. She married Sean Perry on September 13, 2011, in North Vernon; he survives.

Sondra was a 1991 graduate of Jennings County High School and worked as a cashier/cook for Arby’s in North Vernon and in the paint department for Cummins Engine Company in Walesboro. She enjoyed reading, photography, writing, and her cats. She loved spending time with her family.

Surviving with her husband, Sean Perry is a daughter, Trinity Giles of Vernon; brother, Mark (Donna) Lawson of Scipio; sisters, Cindy (Gary) Sallee of Scipio and Beth (Richie) Purnell of Denver, Colorado. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Gilbert Giles-Perry. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, March 1, 2019, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home for expenses.
