Stanley A. Bills, age 83, a former resident of Edinburg passed away on Sunday March 17, 2019 at the Wells House Nursing home. He was born in Edinburg, NY on February 15, 1936. The son of the late Asa L. and Othelia E. Farrington Bills.

He was a self-employed logger for his entire life. He was a lifetime area resident and member of the Pilgrim Holiness Church. Stanley enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, wood working, reading and crossword puzzles.

He loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was happiest when running a chain saw or carving out an axe handle. Survivors include his wife Jane Knapp Bills, whom he married on July 20th, 1957.

He is also survived by a brother Meredith Bills, Mill Hall, PA. He is also survived by his children; Jerrold Bills Northville; Gwen (Tim) Cox, Mountain City, TN; Donalee(Steve) Yarrison, Mill Hall, PA; Ranae Cox, Johnstown NY; Darlene(Bob)Ault, Broadalbin NY; Larry(Debbie) Bills, Edinburg NY; Garry(Patty) Bills, Mahaffey PA; Terry(Michelle) Bills Johnstown NY. Family and friends are invited to Visitation on Wednesday March 20, 2019 at the Northville Funeral Home from 5 to 7 p.m. Visitation will also be held on Thursday March 21, 2019 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Northville Pilgrim Holiness Church, 1284 Co. Hwy 123, where a funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Burial will take place in the spring in Edinburg Cemetery.
