Jackson, age 80, of Warsaw, MO passed away January 11, 2019. Stan was born near New Boston, MO on August 6, 1938 to Geneva (Briggs) (Jackson) Malatesta. He worked for Bucklin R-2 School as a custodian and bus driver for many years, and was a long-haul truck driver before retiring to Warsaw, MO.

He loved fishing and considered himself a good house-keeper having been married twice and keeping the house both times. Stan always had a smile, joke, or story to tell, and was always there to lend a hand. His greatest joy was spending time with his family.

Stan is survived by son Doug (Margie) Jackson, Sedalia, MO; daughter Debbie (Tim) Nolan, Marceline, MO; grandchildren Eric (Candice) Nolan, Springdale, AR, Adam (Celene) Nolan, Tacoma, WA, Andrea (Tyler) Shoemaker, Marceline, MO, and Glenell Siron, Smithton, MO; great-grandchildren Ethan Siron, Smithton, MO, Lola and Drake Nolan, Springdale, AR, and Ruby and Sawyer Shoemaker, Marceline, MO; former wife and lifelong friend DeAnna Thompson; step-children Cindy (Joe) Cordray and Steve (Susan) McCollum; aunts Wilma Martin, Erma Shreck and Peggy Swaffar. He was preceded in death by his mother; grandparents Lawrence and Irene Briggs; uncle L.T. Briggs; aunts Ruth King, Etta Croy and Carol Ketchum; and half-brother Carl Robert Jackson. A celebration of life service will be held at a future date.
