Stanley W. “Stan” Brock January 23, 2019 Send Flowers Sign Guestbook Stanley W. “Stan” Brock, 77, of Chillicothe, died Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at his residence. He was born July 20, 1941, in Newtown, Ohio. Surviving are a daughter, Kathy Brock; his dog, Homer, both of Chillicothe; siblings, Geri Keller, of Cincinnati, Esther Reck, of Orlando, FL, Karen Willis, of Chillicothe and Rebecca Hallum, of Oklahoma; nieces and nephews, Bob and Debbie Keller, of Xenia, Dawn Mitic, of Cincinnati, Tina Smiley, of Milford, Chris and Heather Reck, of Ft.

Worth, TX and Holly Reck, of Orlando, FL; and many friends including, Herman Scaggs, Tom Bouillion, Sam McKenzie, Dennis Depugh, Roger Conn and Judy Kaltenbach. He was predeceased by his parents, Paul and Peggy Jennings. Stan attended Chillicothe High School and was a United States Marine Corps Veteran having served from 1959 to 1964.

He worked for Jennings GMC from 1965 to 1995, owned and operated Heritage Restoration from 1995 to 2005 and worked in the Carpentry Shop at the Chillicothe VA Medical Center from 2008 to 2016. Stan enjoyed animals, especially hummingbirds, working in his butterfly garden, land maintenance, carpentry and weekend breakfasts with his friends. When we remember Stan, we will always be reminded of the respect, honor, patriotism and loyalty he had for his country.

Stan was hardworking and enjoyed living a simple life. Even though he was set in his ways, he was generous and thoughtful and loved spending time and helping his family and many friends. Stan lived his life based on principles and doing the right thing, being responsible, treating others well, helping wherever he could, he was kind and loving to animals, and often sacrificed his own wellbeing for that of others.

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no formal services. He is being cremated, informal memorial for family and friends will be planned in the spring at the land he loved. Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
