Mrs. Stephanie Irene Rehnert, 56, of Franklin Township, Pa. passed away Monday July 9th in Carbon County. She was the wife of Robert M. Rehnert.

They were married for 24 years last Aug. 14th 2017. Born in Albuquerque, New Mexico on Sunday, May 13, 1962, she was a daughter of Earlene (Winter) Stinnard of Honesdale, Pa.

and the late Lester Stinnard Sr.. She was currently employed as an independent jewelry consultant. She was of the protestant faith.

Stephanie was involved with Lehighton community activities and previously volunteered her time as a Girl Scout leader in the local community. She enjoyed sewing, needlepoint, and loved her family oriented activities. Surviving in addition to her husband are 3 daughters, Erin M. wife of William J. Hill III, Cassandra T. Rehnert, Alexandra C. Rehnert of Lehighton, a son, Ryan J. Bortree of Honesdale, Pa.

a grandson, Taegan Bortree, a sister, Daphanie, wife of Timothy Ellis of Honesdale, a brother, Lester Sinnard Jr. of Honesdale, nieces & nephews. A Celebration of Life Service in her honor will be held on Monday, July 16th at 7 p.m. at The Ovsak FH, 190 S. 4th St., Lehighton with the Reverend Jennifer K. Eckhart officiating. Call 5-7 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
