Sonya M. Frantz, 77, of Rocky Mt. , NC and formerly of Lehighton, PA passed away on Tuesday September 11, 2018. She was the widow of Dale E. Frantz who died on March 16, 2017.

Born in Bowmanstown she was the daughter of the late Alton and Marie (Walk) Rehrig. She was a 1959 graduate of Lehighton Area High School and a graduate of Durham Tech in Durham, NC. Sonya worked as an Administrative Assistant for Bayer Research in Triangle Park, North Carolina for many years.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 22nd at 11AM at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church 3rd & Iron Streets Lehighton with Reverend Nancy Moore officiating, Committal Service to follow at Lehighton Cemetery.
