Stephanie Warburton Hall November 27, 1981 ~ November 15, 2018 Stephanie Warburton Hall, our beautiful daughter, sister, aunt, mother, and friend, passed away on November 15, 2018, after suffering from an extended illness. Her passing has left her family heartbroken. Steph was born on November 27, 1981, in Ogden, Utah, to Brad and Debbie Warburton.
She was the middle daughter of three girls. Steph attended Weber County schools, including Lomond View Elementary and North Ogden Junior High. She graduated from Weber High School in 2000.
Steph went on to graduate from Stacy’s College of Beauty and worked outside the home as a cosmetologist, becoming a master of her craft. She bonded with and developed lasting friendships with each of her clients. Steph especially enjoyed helping Grandma and Grandpa White, Aunt Kathy, and Uncle Wayne with their hair.
Steph had always dreamed of becoming a mother. She welcomed her beautiful daughter, Mylee Nicole, into the world in 2003 with love and devotion. Steph married Michael Jason Hall in 2009.
She spent most of her time helping raise Mike’s four children, along with Mylee. Steph and Mike later divorced. One of Steph’s favorite things to do was travel, especially with Mylee.
Her favorite places to visit were Disneyland, Las Vegas, and Bear Lake. Steph loved to boat, fish, ski, and snowmobile – as long as she looked good doing it. She appreciated the quality of a good steak, the adrenaline rush of fast cars, and the excitement of an intense football game or Utah Jazz basketball game.
Her dog, Minnie, was one of her greatest joys. Steph embraced the magic of Christmas, and found a lot of happiness in using her artistic talent to elaborately decorate Christmas trees. No one could clean Steph’s house better than she could, so she would work tirelessly to make sure her home was always in perfect order.
Steph had a quick wit, a contagious laugh, and loved to tease. She could find humor in most every situation, which was one of her family’s favorite qualities about her. Steph had a terrific memory and would continually reminisce about her childhood, often making mention of how she longed to return to those simpler times.
She was overly generous, and extremely sensitive to others’ feelings. She never forgot a family member’s birthday, and loved each of her nieces and nephews beyond comprehension. Steph’s dad was her hero, and her mom was her best friend.
Words cannot express our thanks to the multiple medical teams at the University of Utah who have helped Steph over the past few years, especially those involved in hepatology and palliative care. We are also very grateful for Inspiration Hospice, and others involved with Steph’s care throughout her last days of life. Steph was preceded in death by Michael J. Hall, and her grandparents, Dale and Ruth Warburton.
She is survived by her daughter, Mylee; Mylee’s father, Cole Shafer; her loving grandparents, William and Donna White; her parents, Brad and Debbie Warburton; her sister, Natalie (Shawn) Redd, and their children, Chance, Hannah, and West; and her sister Lindsay (Jason) Braithwaite, and their children, Lily, Nora, Jack, and Evie.
