Obituary for Stephen Lee Scott Memorial services for Stephen Lee Scott, 48, of Mabank, are scheduled for Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Hannigan Smith Funeral Home with Mike McPherson officiating. Stephen passed away December 25, 2018 in Tyler. He was born December 6, 1970 in Dallas.
He worked in construction most of his life. Stephen was a proud cheer dad. He loved spending time with his family, hunting deer and watching the Dallas Cowboys play.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Lillian Mauck. Survivors include wife, Courtney Scott of Mabank; father, Buster Scott and wife Donna of Kaufman; children, Britnee Scott of Richardson, Jonathan Ferrell of Mabank and Sammi Ferrell of Mabank; siblings, Crystal and Lindsey Scott of Forney, Melanie Tanner and husband Casey of Eustace, Ashley Osborne and husband Chad of Eustace, Amy GoDair and husband Jeff of Mabank and Clint Evans of Tyler; grandchild, Jayden Ferrell; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other family and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
