Steven H. Pofahl, age 54, passed away Friday, February 15, 2019. He was born May 16, 1964 in Grand Haven to Eugene F. and Florence S. (Dusnik) Pofahl and was a life resident. On November 14, 1987, he married the former Jayne L. Witt in Muskegon.

Steve was a self-employed electrician for over 30 years and along with his father owned Pofahl Electric. He was an avid U of M Fan and enjoyed attending football games at The Big House. Steve had been on a bowling league for many years and loved his yellow labs.

Steve and Jayne enjoyed vacationing in Jamaica. He is survived by his wife, Jayne L. Pofahl; 3 children, Stephanie (John) Halladay, Lauren (Clark) Baker, Logan Pofahl; 5 grandchildren, Kilee, Jayse and Brynn Halladay, Hadley and Harper Baker; 4 sisters, Mary (Lee) LeRoy, Nancy (Terry Shumate) Pofahl, Diane Pofahl, Karen (Pat) Chabot; 1 sister-in-law, Peggy (Bob) Peroutka; 1 brother-in-law, Tom (Jane) Witt; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 sister, Carol Pofahl, and his in-laws, Melvin and Joyce Witt.

A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., (231) 798-1100 with Rev. Tray Hauser Brydon officiating. Visitation will be held 5-8 PM Tuesday.
