Steven W. Burbey, 65, of Beloit, WI, died Friday, February 8, 2019 in his home. He was born June 4, 1953 in Fort Dix, NJ, the son of Laddie R. and Barbara (Miller) Burbey. Steven attended Hononegah High School.

He married Bonnie Wolf in 1972. Steven then married Jean Haase in 1976. He later married Lynda Wolfe in 1990.

She predeceased him in 2004. Steve was employed as a general contractor for many years, and recently retired. Although still hard working and very talented he was always keeping busy with projects he took so much pride in.

He was an outdoors man his whole life who enjoyed sports like hunting and fishing, and loved growing his garden. He enjoyed time spent at home in his yard with family, friends, music, and cooking on the grill year-round. Steve had a giant personality with a giant heart.

Always lending a helping hand to those in need. He was a very devoted and loving son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. But also seen as a force to be reckoned with.

He had many plans for life after retirement and was looking forward to finally enjoying some free time by traveling, and of course spending more time with loved ones. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him and knew the man he truly was. “Love you more”.
