She was born on June 4, 1964, in Aberdeen to Duane Robert and Betty Lou (Shaw) Madison. She attended the schools in Aberdeen.

In 1981 she met and married Epifanio Pacheco on February 12, 1982, and they had three children. For many years she was a stay at home mom, then worked for a few years as a CNA. Most recently employed by Walmart for the last 23 years.

She enjoyed going to work as was testified by her outstanding attendance record. When she wasn’t working her normal 40 hours a week job, she could be found thrift store shopping with her sister, Sharon. Something they loved doing together.

Sue also liked spending time with her grandchildren, whom she loved very much. She enjoyed the BBQ’s with her family and friends as well as taking care of her animals that included her six birds and her two cats, Tita and Smokey. Sue was known for being selfless and loving and for having touched the hearts of those she came in contact.

She never passed judgment but instead took the time to get to know people for who they were, not what they did or did not have. Sue Ann is survived by her husband, Epifanio Pacheco of the Aberdeen family home; her three children, Joe Madison-Pacheco and his wife, Ashley Madison, Carlina Escalante and Adrien Pacheco; nine grandchildren, Eban, Carlos, Drihana, Araceli, Elijah, Owen, Jax, Vera and Leo; her father, Duane Madison, her sister, Sharon Madison and other relatives. Sue was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Lou Madison and her brother, David Madison.

A graveside service will be held at 1:30 pm, Monday, February 18, 2019, at the Satsop Cemetery with Daniel Gebhart officiating. A potluck gathering for family and friends will follow at the Hoquiam Elks, 624 K Street, beginning at 3:00 pm. Direction is by the Coleman Mortuary, 422 – 5th Street in Hoquiam.
