Lori Alison Smith May 24, 1956 – March 01, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Memorial Donation Lori Alison Smith, age 62, a lifetime resident of Taholah, died on March 1, 2019, at Tacoma General Hospital in Tacoma. Lori was born on May 24, 1956, in Aberdeen, Washington to Albert George Smith, Sr. and Hazel (Strom) Smith. She was raised in Taholah and attended North Beach Schools.

Lori loved children and in addition to spending time with her grandchildren, she worked at a day care. She hd also enjoyed beach combinb, hiking, hunting and collecting Mickey Mouse items. Surviving relatives include her son, Cory Smith of Taholah; two grandchildren, Tyus Amith and Luvelah Smith, both of Taholah; siblings, Albert G. Smith, Jr., Verdie McCloud, Geneva Underwood, Mel Smith, Jake smith and Bill Smith.

The extended family includes numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded by a sister, Susan Smith and a brother Dave Smith. A candlelight service will be at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.

An Indian Shaker service will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at the Taholah Shaker Church. Interment will follow at Hoquiam’s Sunset Memorial Park. A dinner will be at the Taholah Community Center at approximately 3:00 PM.
