Funeral services for Katheryn Sue Reeder, age 77, of Brownwood, Texas will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, March 19, 2019 at the Grosvenor Baptist Church with David Barnum officiating. Interment will follow in the Blanket Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5:00 pm- 7:00 pm Tuesday at the Heartland Funeral Home.

Mrs. Reeder passed away Friday, March 15, 2019 at Abilene Regional Medical Center. Katheryn was born on October 31, 1941 in Deleon, Texas to Wilson Harold and Delpha Lorene Harveston Bridges and was a graduate of Comanche High School. On May 30, 1958 Katheryn married Buddy Gene Reeder in Comanche, Texas and they worked side by side operating a drywall business they owned.

Katheryn had a love for music and bingo. She sang in a band call the Texas Country Buddies and also enjoyed gathering with her friends to play Bingo. Katheryn was a member of the Grosvenor Baptist Church and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include her daughters Wynnett Williams and husband Buddy of Goldthwaite, Texas and Tressie McGlasson of Sundown, Texas; one son Shannon Reeder of Brownwood, Texas; her brother Wilson Harold Bridges of Blanket, Texas; her aunts Nell Russell and husband James of Blanket, Claudia Mosley, Lorene Bonner and husband Lester of Fort Worth, Texas and Ola Mae Harrison of Springtown, Texas. Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents Harold and Delpha Bridges, husband Buddy Reeder, daughter Sherry Sue Carr and sister Betty Hill.
