Susan Elaine Stoner, 69, Lakewood, Colorado, passed away April 30, 2018, at her home. Born September 24, 1048, in Indiana, she was the first-born child of Hugh Edward and Barbara Ellen McClain Stoner. She attended the Chili School for her primary education and was a 1966 graduate of North Miami High School.

She attended college to become a beautician and later worked as a ward clerk at Dukes Memorial Hospital in Peru. She earned her a certificate as a Certified Nursing Assistant and worked as CNA in nursing homes and hospitals in Indiana and Colorado. Susan was an active member of Central Bible Church in Lakewood, Colorado, where she enjoyed attending services, Bible studies, and working with the “Good News Club”.

Susan is survived by her two sisters, Jane Conrad, Peru, Indiana; and Linda (Steven) Miller, Logansport; and one brother, Bryan (Teresa) Stoner, Pleasant Hill, Missouri; nieces and nephews, Kevin, Joshua, Scott, Kyle, Mark, Lindsey, Aaron, and Chelsie. She is also survived by many cousins, great-nieces and nephews. Susan was preceded in death by her parents, brother-in-law, Keith Conrad, and special uncle, Hal W. McClain.

A memorial reception will be held from Noon-2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 24, 2018, at the Mexico Church of the Brethren Fellowship Hall, Mexico, Indiana.
