Palya, age 49 of Brick, passed away on January 2, 2019 at Ocean Medical Center. She was born and raised in Rahway and moved to Brick in 1997.

Surviving are her mother Elizabeth Palya, fiancé Robert Thieme, daughter, Emily Carol Thieme, brother, Michael Palya and sister Donna Palya-Carmino. The family will receive relatives and friends for a memorial gathering on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 from 4-8pm at Laurelton Memorial Funeral Home, 109 Pier Ave. , Brick, NJ 08723.

Cremation is private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Jersey Shore Animal Center 185 Brick Blvd. , Brick, NJ 08723.
