WALKER (Simpson) “Tuttie”, 94 years young, of Wall Township New Jersey, formerly of Allentown, Pennsylvania and Lehigh Township, Pennsylvania, completed her journey home with family by her side, on February 12, 2019. Lillian was born to James and Alleta Walker (Easton) of Danielsville, Pennsylvania on July 17, 1924. She grew up in a farming community and spent most of her younger years helping her parents run three family farms and performing with her father’s band.

Lillian was a member and confirmed at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ. She attended the local one room school house and graduated class of 1941 from Lehigh Township High School. She married and later divorced, Arthur Charles Simpson, having two children.

Lillian loved children and gardening and after moving to Allentown, Pa. she became a foster parent for Family and Children’s Services, for which she was presented a plaque for 30 years of service to children. She was active in her community and in anything that involved children, such as the PTA.

She was a tireless and devoted volunteer of the Lehigh County Blind Association. She was an amazing woman who touched many lives and will be missed deeply by all those who had the privilege of knowing her. Lillian is survived by her children: Leticia Walker and her spouse Donna Shields, and Donna Simpson with whom she resided, Debbie Lee, Sandra Brantley, Terry Simpson, Stephen Walker, Symon Walker.

Grandchildren: Jayson Simpson, Shawn Simpson, Jeremy Holmes, Michael Quaye, Christopher Quaye and his spouse Jacky, Johnnathan Quaye and his spouse Jennifer, Zackery Quaye, Joshua Lee, Jessica Lee-Brooks and her spouse Sam. Great grandchildren: Jayson, Megan, Amanda, Ashley, Justin, Cyrus, Bryce, Jaelyn, Alijah, Zahryne, Zaizel, Zemont, Zylis, Nikaiyah, Camden, Jaceon, Samaira, Jericko. Great great grandchildren: Raina.

Lillian was predeceased by her beloved daughter Catherine Quaye. Visitation and services will be held at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, 787 Almond Rd. Walnutport, Pa.

on Thursday, February 21, 2019. Visitation will be from 10:00 am – 11:00 am, followed immediately by Services and a graveside prayer at Indianland Cemetery.
