Teresa was born in Freeport, NY on May 30, 1962 to Vincenzo and Nicoletta Ammirato. During her career, Teresa worked as a hairdresser, meeting many people and building many relationships throughout the years.

Until becoming ill, Teresa worked for Oasis Beauty Bar in Toms River. During her leisure time, she enjoyed riding motorcycles with friends and was a member of the NJ Motorcycle Cruisers. She loved to travel, ride bicycles to the beach, listen to country music and cooking.

Teresa was a loving and devoted mother, daughter, sister and friend. She will be dearly missed by her family. Teresa is survived by her sons, Paul Minniti and his fiancé Brigid McGraw and Michael Minniti; and by her significant other John O’Connor.

Teresa also leaves behind her mother, Nicoletta Ammirato, her siblings, Doraina Alioto, Michelle Castaldo and Ariel Ammirato. She is preceded in death by her father Vincenzo Ammirato, two brothers, Vincent Ammirato and Frank Ammirato. The family will receive relatives and friends for Visitation on Saturday, February 16, 2019 from 12:00 PM to 4:00PM at Weatherhead Young Funeral Home, 885 Mantoloking Road Brick, NJ 08723.

The funeral home prayer service will begin Saturday at 3:30PM. At the family’s request the cremation will be handled privately.
