Castellano, age 88 of Brick passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on February 16, 2019 at her home. She was born and raised in Orange, NJ, lived in Carteret and Bradley Beach before moving to Brick 18 years ago.

Edith was a parishioner at Church of the Visitation, Brick. She is preceded in death by her husband John James Castellano. Surviving are her children; John Castellano and his wife MaryAnn, Janice Castellano, Barbara Milano and her husband Mark J., Gail Ippolito and her husband John, Laura Lyon and her husband Daniel, and Cory Ann Dalesandro and her husband Rickey, 17 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

The family will receive relatives and friends for a viewing on Tuesday February 19, 2019 from 4-8pm at Weatherhead Young Funeral Home, 885 Mantoloking Rd. , Brick, NJ 08723. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at Church of the Visitation, Brick on Wednesday February 20, 2019, 9:30am.

Entombment will follow at St. Catharine’s Cemetery, Sea Girt.
