Obituary for Sybil Shirley Mooney Sybil Shirley Mooney, 92, widow of Hugh Marshall Mooney, passed away on November 21, 2018. A native of Ware Shoals, daughter of the late John Franklin and Luanner Satterfield Shirley, she was a homemaker and a member of El Bethel Baptist Church. Surviving are three daughters, Shirley McCoy of Greer, Nancy Brandt of Greer and Carol Stanley of Simpsonville and seven grandchildren.

Mrs. Mooney was predeceased one son, Stephen Mooney and one daughter, Phyllis Mooney. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 24, 2018 at The Wood Mortuary conducted by Rev. Joe Seay.

Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 9:30-10:45 a.m. Saturday at the mortuary. The families are at their respective homes.
