Obituary for Alfred Shealy Boland Alfred Shealy Boland, 78, passed away November 17, 2018. A native of Newberry County, he was a son of the late Milton F. and Mary Carolyn Shealy Boland, a 1962 graduate of the University of South Carolina, a retired operations manager for Cryovac with 37 years of service, attended Sharon United Methodist Church and was a US Army veteran. Surviving are his wife, Myra Smith Boland of the home; one daughter, Shealy Boland Reibold (Rob) of Columbia; two sons, Jeffrey Smith Boland (Sarah) of Greer and John Jay Boland of Lyman; one brother, Gene Boland of Prosperity; and two grandchildren, Jack Boland and Sadie Reibold.

He was also predeceased by two brothers, Donald Boland and Larry Boland. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Sharon United Methodist Church, conducted by Rev. Bryson Williams.

Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park. Visitation will be held 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Monday, November 19, 2018 at The Wood Mortuary. The family is at the home.
