Obituary for Sylvia Jan Carroll Sylvia Jan Carroll, 81, was born in Haines City, Florida on October 27, 1936 and made her grand entrance into heaven on May 21, 2018 while surrounded by family and friends. Jan was preceded into heaven by her parents Isa Blanche and Leon Velpo Fralish, as well as the love of her life, Clyde Lionel Carroll. Jan married Lionel when she was 16 years old, and theirs was a love story that would make Hollywood envious.

Jan and Lionel were married for 58 years until he moved up to heaven to get things ready for her to join him. And just as he promised, we’re certain Lionel was waiting for her at the Pearly Gates. Jan is survived by her children, Judith Turner and Richard Carroll, as well as her brother Jim Fralish and sister Karen Shetter, and 5 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren.

Jan’s Celebration Service will take place Friday, May 25 at Freedom Fellowship Assembly of God, where she was a member, located at 102 First Street South, Dundee, FL. Visitation is from 1:30pm until service at 2:30pm with internment at Forest Hill Cemetery in Haines City. Please plan to wear purple in honor of Jan’s favorite color.
