Obituary for Marjorie L. Marschall Marjorie L. Marschall of Winter Haven, FL passed away Sunday, May 6, 2018. She was 91. A native of Staten Island, NY, born May 29, 1926 to Michael and Louise Keiber Hartung.

She graduated from Wagner College and worked for Dreyfus Company as a Chemist. She was awarded a lifetime membership in the American Chemical Society. In 1957, Marjorie relocated to Winter Haven from Staten Island and helped establish her husband’s dental practice.

Marjorie was very active in her church, Grace Lutheran, where she served for decades on Special Ministries making assurance calls on those in need, was a Sunday School teacher, and helped publish “The Voice of Grace”. Marjorie was very involved in the community. She loved to garden and combined that passion with philanthropy as a member of the Planter’s Garden Club where she was recently honored as one of its’ founding members.

She was active in Friends of the Library and volunteered at the Winter Haven Public Library. She thoroughly enjoyed manning the FOL Bookstore. for many, many years.

Marjorie was a community volunteer and assisted students with reading at the Snively School. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Dr. Albert Marschall. She is survived by her children, Dr. Michael Marschall (Sara) of Chicago, and Lisa Marschall Young (Art) of Orlando.

She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Erika, Ehren, Matthew and Emily. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Grace Lutheran Church. Interment will follow at Rolling Hills Cemetery.
