Obituary for Mr. Marion “Bon” E. Bond Mr. Marion “Bon” E. Bond of Lake Alfred, FL passed away Thursday, June 21, 2018. He was 87. A native of Abbeville, SC, born July 31, 1930 to Claud and Mae Jones Bond, Marion moved here in 1959.

He retired as a Supervisor from Tampa Electric after 33 years of service; was a US Navy veteran during the Korean War; was a member of the Elk Lodge; and a 65-year member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. Marion was preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers Claud and Leroy Bond. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Billie Bond of Lake Alfred; his daughter Cindy Bond Jones (Jack) of Dawsonville, GA, his sister Lois Ashcroft of Spartanburg, SC, his brother Francis Bond of Mt.
