Obituary for Carleton L. Moore Carleton L. Moore, 85, of Haines City, FL passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Heart of Florida. He was born on May 3, 1933 in Moose River, Maine to Raymond and Elaine (Damon) Moore. He served proudly the US Army, worked for the Scott Paper Company until he retired in 1986 and moved to Haines City in 1995 from Jackman, Maine.

Carleton was an active member of The First Presbyterian Church in HC, FL. He was a past Master of the Masons, a Kora Shrine member, where he served as an ambassador, a former member of the Lake Henry Estates Board of Directors, a member of the American Legion and the VFW. Carleton also served as a selectman for 21 years for the Town of Moose River, Maine.

He was licensed as a private pilot and was licensed land surveyor. Carleton was an avid outdoors man. He loved hunting, fishing, bowling and golfing.

He loved his family dearly and he will be missed by those who loved him. He was predeceased by his parents and sister, Marjorie Phelps. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Eleanor; sons, Harald Moore and wife, Karen of Moose River, ME, Mark Moore and wife, Francine of Jackman, ME; stepchildren, Margery Camden Finley and husband, Kevin of Bethel, ME and Steven Camden of North Anson, ME; sister in law, Sandra Turner of Billings, Montana; grandchildren, Seth, Christopher, Marisa and Brandon; step grandchildren, Caroline, Margaret and Jessie; and great grandchildren, Leah Page, Connor, Hayden and Liam.
