Obituary for John B Keller John B. Keller, 87, of Winter Haven, FL passed away on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at his residence. John was born on June 22, 1931 in Columbia, MO, the son of Charles and Rowena Keller. The family moved to Kansas City in 1937 where John attended Hale Cook elementary and graduating from Southwest High School in 1948.

He continued his education at the University of Kansas, receiving a B.S. degree in 1952. He was a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity. John was a business owner in the construction and banking fields.

He was active in numerous Kansas City area civic, business, social, educational and sports organizations before retiring to Winter Haven in 1983. John married Anne Jackson in 1953, with that marriage producing two beloved sons, Gib Keller (Dianne) of Overland Park, KS and Jay Keller (Karen) of Jefferson City, MO. Anne died in 1982.

In 1988 John married Nancy Phillips in Winter Haven, FL and was blessed with three step children; Julie Phillips (Angie), Tim Phillips (Lisa) and Jill Stults (Deron), all of Winter Haven, FL. In addition, John has four grandchildren, one great grandchild and six step grandchildren; and two nephews. Service will be held privately for the family.
