Obituary for Thomas E Moody Thomas Ervin Moody, 67, died 04/22/2018 after a brief illness. Born in Winter Haven, FL, to David E. Moody and Sara K. Moody, he attended schools in Auburndale and graduated from Auburndale High School, Class of 1969. He attended Polk Community College and the University of West Florida.

He taught school for several years at Fruitland Park School in Lake Alfred and retired after 27 years at WalMart in Winter Haven. He was predeceased by his father, David E. Moody; sister, Vicki M. Adams; paternal grandparents Thomas W. and Mollie C. Moody and maternal grandparents, Julian King and Vera Johnson King Thurmond. He is survived by his loving family, mother, Sara K. Moody; sister, Elizabeth M. Keen; nephew, Levic D. Allen; nieces, Jahna Allen, Samantha Adams and Allyson Adams; great nephews, Jerrod Leinhauser and Dylan Barwick; great nieces, Juliet Leinhauser, Autumn Adams and Braylee Adams.

Ervin was an avid collector and loved his cats. At his request there will be no services. He will be buried by his father at Lake Alfred Cemetery.
