Obituary for Evelyn Alice Knox Evelyn Alice Knox, of Davenport, FL, passed away on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at the age of 95. Evelyn was born on June 11, 1922 to Theodore and Alice (Burkhardt) Bishop in Bridgeport, CT. She moved to Davenport in 1992 from Norwalk, CT, she was a homemaker and a member of Methodist Faith Church in Davenport, FL.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. Evelyn will be truly missed by her family and by those who loved her.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Robert Knox, son Donald Smith, sisters Gloria Bishop and Mary Galt. Evelyn is survived by her children, William and wife, Jennifer Smith and Robin and husband, Steve Pragano; brother, Ted Bishop; daughter in law, Barbara Smith; grandchildren, William, Donald, Christopher, Joseph, Drew, Anthony, Ryan, Heather, Brian, and Amber; great grandchildren, Jared, Olivia, Drew, Ava, Savannah, Dez, Ryder, Liv, Golden and two on the way; 2 nieces; 6 nephews and several great nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. all at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Haines City, FL.
