Obituary for Edmund C. Scarborough Edmund C. Scarborough, 56, of Haines City, passed away on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at Florida Hospital DeLand. Edmund was born on April 21, 1962 in Tampa, Florida to Earl Cecil and Mary (Connell) Scarborough. He moved to Haines City in 1988 from Tampa, FL.

Edmund earned an associate’s degree from Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL, and he was employed as an operations manager for a construction company that builds roads and heavy highways as well as a member of Landmark Baptist Church in Haines City, FL. Edmund was a loving husband, father, brother and son. He was a deeply patriotic man and had a genuine love for his country.

Edmund was a fan of the FSU football team and would plan his vacations around the times when the football games were on so he could attend. He was also a fan of the Miami Dolphins. Edmund was an avid outdoors man, he loved fishing, hunting, golfing and traveling.

Edmund loved cooking, especially breakfast and desserts, he truly had the skills of a professional chef. He was preceded in death by his father, Earl C. Scarborough. Edmund is survived by his wife of 30 years, Yvonne Scarborough; mother, Mary Scarborough; two sons, Cory Scarborough of St. Petersburg, FL and Garrett Scarborough of Haines City, FL; two brothers, Troy and his wife, Wendy Scarborough and Alan Scarborough of Tampa, FL; one sister, Pamela and her husband, Mike Chapman of McKinney, TX.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. all at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Haines City, Florida.
