Ted Michael Ricketts, age 56, of Bellefontaine, Ohio passed away Thursday afternoon, October 4, 2018 at Heartland of Bellefontaine. He was born in Bellefontaine December 26, 1961, to the late Milo Andrew and Patricia C. (Smith) Ricketts. Ted is survived by his sister, Susan Ricketts of Indianapolis, Indiana; his brother, Timothy (Renee) Ricketts of Napoleon, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.

A 1980 graduate of Bellefontaine High School, Ted grew up attending the Bellefontaine First Church of God. Following graduation, Ted served in the United States Army National Guard. He loved model airplanes and was a World War II military buff.

Ted enjoyed NASCAR and was a Kevin Harvick fan. He also loved the Ohio State Buckeyes. Pastor Gary Brown will officiate a graveside service Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. in the Bellefontaine Cemetery.
