Obituary for Teddy A. Salzer Teddy A. Salzer January 6, 1951-June 3, 2018 Teddy A. Salzer, age 67, of La Porte, passed away Sunday June 3, 2018 at Golden Living Center-Countryside in LaPorte, IN. He was born January 6, 1951 in LaPorte , the son of the late William Salzer and Hazel (Tibbs) Salzer . Teddy served in the Army in Germany during the Vietnam era.

He lived life to the fullest and enjoyed people. He was generous with all, never meeting a stranger. He held a close bond with his family and cherished time spent with his brothers and sisters.

Teddy was an avid nature lover, enjoying walks around the lake and his green thumb could make anything grow. He especially enjoyed cooking for his family and friends. Teddy is survived by his son, Olan Edward Salzer; two daughters, LissaDawne Salzer Scoggin Galvin and Amanda (Panda Bear) Salzer Haley; three brothers, Ron (Debbe) Salzer, Bill Salzer and Robert (Helen) Tibbs; four sisters, Connie (Wilbur) Salzer, Rita (Adam) Lofgren, Patricia (Jeff) Chance and Michele (Tim ) Nice along with several grandchildren.

Arrangements are being entrusted to the Haverstock Funeral Home, LaPorte. Cremation has taken place, there will be no public services. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
