Obituary for Teddy Lynn Austin NICKELSVILLE, VIRGINIA – Teddy Lynn Austin, 63, passed away on Friday, December 28, 2018 at his home surrounded by family. He was an avid sports fan and love to hunt and fish. Above all else he enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He was born in Castlewood, Virginia; son of the late Eugene Austin. . He was preceded in death by one brother, James Austin.

Married for 38 years to Mary Campbell Austin, Teddy was a loving husband and father. He is survived by his three children, Joshua Austin and wife, Ashley of Nickelsville, Virginia, Kari Austin and fiancé, Mark Tittle of Nickelsville, Virginia, and Belle Austin of the home; grandchildren are Lilly Grace, Luke and Olivia of Nickelsville, Virginia; and mother, Georgia Austin of Castlewood, Virginia. Surviving siblings include Barbara and Timothy Nunnari of Meyersdale, Pennsylvania, Sam and Mary Lou Austin of Norton, Virginia, Connie and Roger Dotson of Castlewood, Virginia, Bonnie Austin of Castlewood, William “Tiny” and Cathy Austin of Big Stone Gap, Virginia, and Jeannie and Michael Stanley of Castlewood, Virginia.

Teddy is also survived by several nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends. Funeral Services for Teddy Lynn Austin will be conducted at 7:00 p.m, Sunday, December 30, 2018 in Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel, Castlewood, Virginia with Rev. Steve Collins officiating.

Committal Services and Interment will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 31, 2018 in Temple Hill Memorial Park, Castlewood, Virginia. Family and Friends will meet at the funeral home and go in procession to the cemetery leaving at 10:30 a.m., Monday. Pallbearers will be Chad Hicks, Stephen Austin, Jonathan Clark, Brad Austin, Daniel Smith and David Campbell.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Mark Osborne, Jason Traverse, Bobby Lasley and Danny Austin. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, December 30, 2018 in Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel, Castlewood, Virginia.
