Thelma’s Obituary Thelma Clementine Jones Fifer Feb. 3, 1933 – January 25, 2019 On Friday, January 25th my precious mother peacefully entered the Gates of Heaven and received her very well-deserved reward. Thelma Clementine Jones Fifer was born in Middlesboro Ky.

She has been a resident of New Tazewell, TN for the last 18 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard A. Fifer, her parents, Henry and Susie Jones, sisters Martha Marcum, Dora Mason and Hattie Ellison, brothers James (Bud) Jones, Raymond Jones, Junior Jones, Paul (Butch) Jones, Robert Jones Theodore Jones and one infant grandson, Richard Shane Carpenter. She left behind a faithful daughter, Vivian Ann Woolum and son-in-law Jerry B. Woolum and three devoted grandsons Todd Ellis and wife Mickey Carpenter, Joseph Collie and wife Melissa Carpenter, and Terry Allen and wife Mary Jo Carpenter.

Eleven great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren. She loved her family so much, who in turn loved her even more if that were possible. She will be missed so much.

Thelma Fifer was a member of First Baptist Church of New Tazewell, TN. Her family Gives a heartfelt Christian thank you to all the wonderful friends that have done so much to help during this time. Also, a thank you to Grace and Lucy for their beautiful voices and time they spent recording their song.

Funeral services will be held at Tuesday January 29. 2019 at 6:00 pm at Creech Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Bryon Boger officiating and special singing by Thelma’s grandson Terry Carpenter.

The family will receive Friends from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm, Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at Creech Funeral Home, Middlesboro, KY. Interment services will be private. Register book and online condolences can be left at www.

creechfh.com. Creech Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.
