Thelma’s Obituary Thelma Jane Jenkins, 98, of Kitts Hill, Ohio, passed away at a local nursing home facility, Tuesday, February 19, 2019. Mrs. Jenkins was born February 10, 1921, in Lawrence County, Ohio, a daughter to the late Benjamin and Flossie Collins She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Emerson Jenkins, whom she married October 20, 1941. Mrs. Jenkins was a graduate of Kitts Hill High School.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family. Mrs. Jenkins was a member of Mamre Baptist Church. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by: two sister and brother-in-laws Wilma and Bob Miller and Sadarae and Ray Chapman and sister-in-law Rosemary Collins She is survived by: son: Joe (Jean) Jenkins of Kitts Hill, OH daughter: Linda (Brian) Martin of Canton, OH brother: Buel Collins of South Point, OH four grandchildren: Michael (Andrea) Jenkins of Fairborn, OH, Sarah (Earl) Mollette of Kitts Hill, OH, Daniel Jenkins of South Point, OH and Justin Martin of Canton, OH two great-grandchildren: Luke Jenkins and Anna Jenkins both of Fairborn, OH Funeral service will be Thursday, 11:00 A.M., February 21, 2019, at Phillips Funeral Home, 1004 South 7th Street, Ironton, Ohio with Rev.

Scott Jenkins and Pastor Ryan McKee officiating. Burial will follow in Mamre Cemetery and visitation will be Thursday 10:00 A.M. until time of the service at the funeral home.
