Angelina ‘Theresa’ Bruno was born October 15, 1934 to Anthony and Vera Materano. She was raised in Union Beach where she lived with her 4 siblings. Theresa attended St. Ann’s and graduated from Keyport High School.

Theresa went on to marry Rudy Bruno, whom she met downtown Keyport, and they celebrated almost 60 years of marriage together. Theresa always looked at life with her glass half full. Smiles and gentle words came naturally from her, she led a spirit filled life.

She was a devout Catholic and belonged to St, Joseph’s parish where she attended church regularly with her husband Rudy. Theresa and Rudy had three children, Brenda,Donna and Rudy. As a mother,Theresa was very selfless, always giving and incredibly loving.

Her joy in life was her family. She is survived by her children Donna Bruno of Holmdel,Rudy Bruno and his wife Ericka of Rumson, seven grandchildren Emily Conlon,Adrienne White,Natalie Bruno,Estelle Bruno,Jonathan Bruno,Ava Bruno and Miles Bruno. Also sister-in-law Lucy Brown and many nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her husband Rudy and daughter Brenda. A bright star has dimmed in our lives and Theresa will be very sadly missed. She will always be in our hearts as the incredibly wonderful mother and person she was.
