Jeanine T. Kachersky 65, of Edison, NJ passed away at JFK Medical Center on Tuesday, July 24, 2018. She was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY to the late Joseph and Mabel O’Berg. She lived in Union Beach prior to moving to Edison.

Jeanine was a school teacher for the Elizabeth Board of Education. Jeanine is survived by her loving children,Matthew Sr. of Canada, Amanda and husband Michael Gricko of Parlin, Christopher and wife Christina of Brick, Luke and wife Katie Tracy, Adam and wife Veronica of Lyndhurst and David and wife Helene of Kenilworth. Also surviving are 13 cherished grandchildren, Matthew Jr., Rebamarie, Hayden, Travis,Kayla, Alexis, Nicholas, Grace, Hana, Ellie, Joseph, Owen and Andrew.

Visitation will be held Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Day Funeral Home 361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ 07735. Visitation prior to funeral mass will be Friday 9am at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 at St. Francis of Assisi in Metuchen, NJ.

Interment will be at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Keyport.
