James (Jim) Nolan born in Jersey City spent his childhood in Rutherford and moved to Hazlet, NJ as an adult. He passed away surrounded by the love of his family on September 19th. Jim was always there for you when you needed him and would always give you half of whatever he had in his pocket, even if he didn’t have much.

He was a selfless man who loved every one and whose smile filled the room every time he entered. He could talk to anyone and everyone and everyone who met him loved him. He loved to read and could spend hours doing so.

Jim was predeceased by his wife Gina Nolan, father James Nolan and brother Dennis Nolan. He is survived by his daughter Danielle Nolan and her boyfriend Derek Carlson, sons Jamie and Tim Nolan and daughter in law Alyssa Nolan. Jim is survived by his mother Eileen Nolan and by his siblings Maureen Fischer, Kathleen Monahan, Gerald Nolan, Kevin Nolan and Brian Nolan, all of his sister and brother in laws, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Monday September 24, 2018 from 5-9pm. A prayer service will be held between those hours.
