Thomas A. Rogers, 58, passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Memorial Medical Center. Thomas was born on December 2, 1959 in Springfield the son of Carl A. and Mary Lou Bryant Rogers. He worked as a mechanic and did tree work.

He was preceded in death by son, Daniel “Dan” Rogers; one brother; and one sister. He is survived by seven children; Rodney Reed of Springfield, Jane (Keith) Walker of Pittsfield, June Cerar of Athens, Jenny (Matt) Willis of Athens, Tommy Cerar of Carlinville, Carl (Jackie) Rogers of Springfield, and Johanna (David) Rogers of Springfield; brother, Mike Rogers; four sisters; and several, nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be from 2-5:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 10, 2018 at Ellinger-Kunz & Park Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 11, 2018 at the funeral home with Reverend Ron Waltrip officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the family of Thomas A. Rogers c/o Ellinger-Kunz & Park Funeral Home.
