Beloved father, grandfather and brother passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at Select Specialty Hospital Saginaw. Age 74 years. Son of the late Clarence Burton and Jeanette Adelaide (Mulholland) Goodell, Thomas was born December 16, 1944 in Saginaw, Michigan.

He married Sharon Kay Minnick on November 7, 1964. She predeceased him February 26, 2016. Thomas was employed at Saginaw Steering Gear as a plant security guard for 32 years retiring in 1996.

He was a member of Mid-Michigan Model Makers and Saginaw Valley Auto Modelers Model Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and NASCAR. Surviving to cherish his memory are one son, Thomas and Melissa Goodell Jr., Saginaw; two grandchildren, Haley and Hannah Goodell; his brother, James and Victoria Goodell, Saginaw; his nieces, Nora and Douglas Bishop, Marquette; Sara and David Teske, Kalamazoo.

Thomas was preceded in death by his daughter, Susan Goodell, his son, Troy Goodell and one brother Robert Goodell. Honoring Mr. Goodell’s wishes cremation has taken place. Funeral Liturgy will take place 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 23, 2019 at St. Dominic Parish, SS.

Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 4735 W. Michigan, Saginaw. Rev. Fr.

Steven Gavit will officiate. Friends may visit at the church where the family will be present on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until time of Mass. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Amazing Grace Animal Rescue or charity of your choice.
