Thomas G. Wilkins, Sr., 85, of Finksburg, Maryland, died peacefully on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at home. Born December 5, 1932 in Johnston City, N.C., he was the son of the late Garland and Ida (Starling) Wilkins. He was the loving and devoted husband of 63 years to Marilyn R. (Geare) Wilkins.

Tom was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing the guitar. He owned and operated his own business known as Putty Hill Television Repair. He also operated a side line repairing guitar amps known as “The Old Pro”.

He enjoyed attending flea markets, yard sales, and playing Pictionary. He deeply loved his family and grandchildren and will be greatly missed. Surviving in addition to his wife are son, Thomas G. Wilkins, Jr. and wife Teresa of New Oxford, PA; daughter, Deborah A. Hudgins and husband James of Gettysburg, PA; 7 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.

From a family of nine siblings, Tom was the last survivor. A visitation and memorial Prayer Service will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME in Westminster.
