Thomas Lee Morgan, 75 of Newnan, GA passed away peacefully on May 22, 2019. Mr. Morgan was born June 25, 1943 in Newcomb, TN. The son of Leon and Annie Morgan.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Clarence Morgan. He is survived by his loving wife Zelia, his sister Christine (Sonny) Thomas, Newcomb and his loving children; Kimberley Mattioli (Jimmy), Bellingham, Todd Morgan (Natalie), Villa Rica, Christopher Kirkland (Altus), Stephen Kirkland (Tammy), Newnan, Timothy (Debbie) Kirkland, Calhoun, grandchildren, Cheyenne Mattioli, Shelby Mattioli, Mickail Mattioli, Charlie Morgan, Katie Morgan, Christopher Kirkland II, Chelsea Kirkland, Joshua Kirkland, Cole Kirkland, Alexandra Kirkland, loving grandchildren and nephews Brian Thomas, Newcomb and Phillip (Lydia) Thomas, Chesapeake. Tommy loved working in the yard, tinkering in his woodshed, reading and watching Westerns, traveling, University of Tennessee football and visiting home where he enjoyed most sitting on the front porch of his childhood home all with Zelia; but his passion was spending time with his family and friends.

A kind, generous and humble man, he put his faith, family and others first. He was a storyteller, but also enjoyed a story from others recognizing the blessings of others. He was a member of Providence Baptist Church.

He served his country as an electrician in the United States Navy, before embarking in a career in the airline industry initially starting with Piedmont and finishing His career with US Airways. Specific thanks to his friends Bruce, Buddy and Becky, along with the staff at Duke University and Piedmont Healthcare. The memorial service is 4 p.m. Friday, May 24, 2019 at Providence Baptist Church with Rev.

Ken Norton officiating. The family will greet friends at the church following the service. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
